Managed Care Organization (MCO)

Organizations that provide managed care but have different business models. The organizations are also made up of a variety of physicians, hospitals and other providers.

Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)

A form of health insurance in which the enrollee pays a smaller portion of health care costs when they use pre-approved health care providers.
